We offer two types of medical visits. Read below for descriptions of these visits.
Full Medical Service
or
Limited Consult Service
Required Forms: See the visit descriptions below for links to forms that new clients must submit at least two business days before the visit.
Option One: Full Medical Service
Coronavirus Note:
Until August 1, there are two options for the initial Full Medical Service visits. You can schedule as a telemedicine or in-office visit.
During this period, Dr. Ross does not require a first in-office visit to prescribe or order tests. For new patients during this time period, we require an in-office follow-up visit after August 1, when it is safe to do so.
Basic Facts
Who Qualifies: A client must see Dr. Ross in-office at least one time (see “Coronavirus Note” above about this requirement during the current pandemic).
Visit Location: In-office, phone, or telemedicine clinic options. Patients may choose to visit by phone, telemedicine clinic, or in-office. Dr. Ross may require periodic in-office visits to re-examine a patient.
Scope of Service: Dr. Ross provides prescriptions and tests orders as needed based on the treatment plan developed during the visit.
Marty Ross MD
takes a detailed medical history,
performs a physical exam during an in-office visit,
reviews previous test results,
recommends medical supplements, prescriptions and testing, lifestyle changes, and
provides a detailed treatment plan.
Visit Length, Costs & Insurance: First visits usually last 90 minutes to 2 hours — $700. Follow-up visits are usually 30 minutes — $275. Dr. Ross bills in 15 minute increments. Some first visits for acute problems like tick bites — $275. Payment is expected at time of service. To secure a first visit we require a $300 deposit which is applied to the visit charge. If a client cancels with 2 business days notice, we return the deposit. We do not accept or participate with insurance. Dr. Ross provides a HCFA 1500 insurance form clients can submit to their insurer. Check with your insurance provider to see if they will reimburse you for seeing Dr. Ross out-of-network. Each insurance plan has different rules about whether they pay for phone visits or telemedicine clinic visits.
